Photo Editing
Take a look through this overview of helpful techniques to improve the quality of your photos.
- Exposure
- Look at the histogram make sure nothing is off the chart
- Temperature / Color Correction
- Color Correction is needed most in indoor settings when everything is yellow looking. Just take the eyedropper, point it at a paper or white or grey, then make it a little warmer.
- If it is a night time shot and the colors are all off, it’s better to make the image black and white
- Clarity and Contrast
- Don’t use clarity on people
- Clarity is good for landscapes and distant detail, just don’t overuse. The general rule is 10 to 15 and to help with contrast and details.
